gorge waterfalls returned to the ultrarunning circuit in 2022 after a treacherous wildfire had rendered the columbia river gorge trails unfit for several years; a highly competitive 100km race on saturday and 50km race on sunday fittingly brought a vivacious energy to the trails which were themselves coming back to life
