In central utah, about 3 hours’ drive south of salt lake city, one of the most uniquely stunning — but little known — mountain ranges in the US hosts a true mountain race each summer. The 100km route starts and finishes at eagle point ski resort at over 10,000ft, and takes runners to three 12,000ft+ summits with a total elevation gain of around 17,000ft. Thunderstorms and high alpine exposure are likely, and incredible views are guaranteed.
